Your Privacy Matters
PreMenu is operated by Evocentra Ventures LLC. This policy explains how we handle information when you use premenu.app, website onboarding, and the PreMenu iOS app. PreMenu helps people discover restaurant menu items, plan orders, and understand the source of displayed nutrition information.
1. Information You Provide
You may provide an email address and onboarding answers through our website, including food preferences, restaurant habits, goals, and optional allergy-related selections. In the app, you may create order plans, save preferences, and submit support or data-quality reports. We use this information to provide the features you request, restore website onboarding in the app when supported, and respond to you.
2. App and Service Data
When you use PreMenu, we process requests such as restaurant searches, selected restaurants or menu items, and the information needed to return menu and nutrition results. If you allow location access, the app can use your approximate location for nearby restaurant search; text search remains available if you decline. The app creates a random installation identifier and stores it in the iOS Keychain so we can associate push notifications, support reports, request idempotency, and anonymous diagnostics with an installation. It is not an account, is not synchronized through iCloud, and does not determine subscription access.
3. Nutrition and Menu Information
PreMenu displays menu and nutrition information obtained from restaurant-published materials, third-party sources, or clearly labeled estimates. A source or provenance label accompanies each nutrition number. Restaurant information can change and may be incomplete, so PreMenu should not be used to verify ingredients or allergens; confirm important details directly with the restaurant.
4. Website Data and Cookies
When you visit premenu.app, our hosting systems may receive your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages requested. We use first-party storage or cookies for essential site behavior, onboarding progress, and privacy choices. Clearing browser data may reset choices stored only in that browser.
5. Website Onboarding and Account Linking
If you start onboarding on the website, we store the email address and answers you submit so they can be associated with a server-generated account identifier and restored in the app when you sign in. Sign-in uses a one-time code rather than a password. Downloading PreMenu directly from the App Store does not require website onboarding.
6. Analytics and Diagnostics
The PreMenu website and app use PostHog for product analytics and diagnostics. Website analytics captures page views, interactions with the site, funnel events, and diagnostic data, including session recording (form inputs and email addresses are masked), click heatmaps, page performance measurements, and error reports. Once you provide an email during onboarding, we associate your website activity with a server-generated app-user identifier and your email address so the website and app resolve to one person. We use this information to understand feature performance, diagnose errors, and improve PreMenu. PostHog data is hosted in the European Union. You can opt out as described under Your Rights and Choices.
7. Advertising Measurement on the Website
When configured, the website uses the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure advertising performance. This may send Meta Platforms, Inc. browser identifiers such as `_fbp` and `_fbc`, website events, and, after you provide an email during onboarding, a one-way hashed version of that email for attribution. The Meta pixel does not run inside the iOS app. You can opt out as described under Your Rights and Choices.
8. Purchases and Subscription Services
App Store purchases, including any Apple introductory offer, are processed by Apple. RevenueCat manages subscription products, purchase status, entitlements, and anonymous or account-linked app-user identifiers across supported channels. Where website checkout is offered, RevenueCat Web Billing and its payment processor, Stripe, process the transaction; Evocentra Ventures LLC does not receive your full payment-card number. Purchase providers apply their own privacy policies and terms.
9. How We Use Information
We use information to provide restaurant discovery and order-planning features, return menu and nutrition results, personalize suggestions from your stated preferences, recognize RevenueCat subscription access, restore website onboarding, prevent abuse, measure performance, communicate about the service, and comply with legal obligations. PreMenu does not maintain a free-check quota. We do not use PreMenu as a medical decision-making service.
10. Marketing Email
If you provided an email address through website onboarding, we may send you promotional or marketing email about PreMenu, such as product tips and offers. We track email engagement associated with your account, including delivery, opens, and clicks. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing, or a bounce or complaint, suppresses future marketing email to that address. Opting out of marketing email does not affect login codes or other account email.
11. When We Share Information
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate PreMenu, including Cloudflare for API and infrastructure processing, Firebase for App Check, Apple for App Attest and App Store purchases, restaurant and menu-data services, RevenueCat, Stripe for supported website checkout, PostHog for analytics and diagnostics, email delivery providers, and Meta for website advertising measurement when enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
12. Sale and Sharing for Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Our website's use of Meta advertising identifiers and attribution events may be considered a sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state laws. This website activity is separate from the iOS app. You can opt out through the Your Privacy Choices page or a supported Global Privacy Control signal.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and transaction records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by data type. You may ask us to delete server-stored onboarding or account information, subject to records we must retain by law.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encrypted network transport and restricted service access. The iOS app uses Firebase App Check with Apple's App Attest service in production to help Cloudflare verify that protected API requests came from a genuine app installation. App Check is an app-integrity signal, not a user identity or subscription record. No app, website, attestation system, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
15. Children
PreMenu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@premenu.app .
16. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. You may opt out of website advertising sharing through the Your Privacy Choices page or Global Privacy Control. To make another request, contact support@premenu.app . We may need to verify your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, app, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be available on the website or in the app, and the Last updated date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
